This is a mixed level class those who have completed both Ukulele 1 and 2 and/or feel comfortable playing songs in the keys of C, D, G, and A. Expand your repertoire of chords and strum patterns, and tackle new challenges as you’re ready. We learn a new genre of music each term, so take it as many times as you like!
This term’s musical theme: THE BLUES. Those who have taken Ukulele 2 in the past will remember learning the 12-Bar Blues. We’ll go deeper from there into more blues patterns and fancy techniques. Skills will include the “blues shuffle” and the impressive “trickle down” ending.
Note: This class is designed for soprano, concert, and tenor ukuleles. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are a baritone ukulele player, so I can arrange adapted materials for you. Not sure if you have a baritone? Let me know that too!: email@example.com
